Senior cat litter cleaner Mai Mai has two cats and suffers from social anxiety, with her farthest activity being a nearby cat café. Mai Mai earns a bit of unstable income by drawing comics for a pet magazine. However, she repeatedly stands up her best friend Xin Bao's job recommendations. When the magazine company shuts down, in order to support her two cats, with Xin Bao's help, she joins the advertising company where Xin Bao works.
