Left with no choice, Zuo Yu, the captain of the criminal police team in Pingjiang City Public Security Bureau, breaks into a luxurious hotel where a meeting of the finance bureau is being held, suspecting his wife Miao Ping of infidelity, leading her to angrily file for divorce.
