Adapted from the Chengguang game "Encountering the Dragon," it tells the love story between the Dragon King and a young maid across three lifetimes. Liuying (played by Zhu Xudan) is a maid by Xiahou Xue's side, who inadvertently encounters a snake that frightens her to the brink of fainting. Liuying hurriedly catches the snake, unaware that it is a thousand-year-old dragon, named Weichi Longyan (played by Wang Hedi). To repay her kindness, Weichi Longyan takes Liuying away, but due to an unfortunate series of events, Xiahou Xue, who cares for Liuying, mistakenly believes she is missing. On her search, she encounters a wolf demon and ultimately meets an untimely death at Weichi Longyan's hands.
