"Women's Journey" tells the story of love and companionship in the city, but it does so sharply, without pretense; it presents these themes thoroughly, without being forced. In the bustling world, genuine emotions are hard to find; the deep-seated feelings are not love, but rather an inability to dispel loneliness. The narrative structure of "Women's Journey" is unique. The whole story revolves around four women who are close friends and share everything with each other. Complementing them are male characters who serve as supporting roles. Each episode presents a theme, along with a main character for that episode. One of them acts as the narrator, fulfilling the narrative structure of the whole series. The characters in the story come and go freely, appearing and disappearing quickly, creating a flexible and dynamic atmosphere. The interactions and emotional stories of the four main characters run throughout the series, guided by them, while each episode also features other independent characters, intertwined into a network through the narrator. Structurally, it adopts an episodic format, with each episode telling a relatively independent theme story; the 40 theme stories depict the emotional journeys of the four women. The way the women tell the stories is through one of them narrating: the story of four single women searching for love in the city. "Women's Journey" has a very alternative style. The series draws inspiration from Korean idol dramas, while also borrowing elements from advertisements and MTV in terms of camera work and lighting techniques, fully showcasing the living, working environments, lifestyles, and interpersonal dynamics of the new urban youth. Everything from the characters' styling, clothing, workspaces, home environments, daily necessities, to the food and coffee they consume exudes a sense of leading fashion. Consequently, it appeals to urban professional women aged 20 to 45, as well as working women over 18 who aspire to urban life. The dialogue in "Women's Journey" is very insightful. The four professional women are clever and quick-witted; when they speak earnestly or express sadness, their heartfelt words are naturally brilliant. Watching their expressions and listening to their analyses, you will resonate with their feelings and also laugh out loud. Because of "Women's Journey," viewers will gain a completely new understanding of urban romance dramas.
