Lau Yiu Ming (played by Wong Ho Sin) has just broken up with his girlfriend and has consecutively lost his job. The only place he could stay has been rented out by his girlfriend without his consent to a piano teacher named Choi Gin Ching (played by Lee Shih Wa). With no other options, Lau Yiu Ming is forced to agree to Choi Gin Ching's various harsh demands in order to qualify for sharing the apartment with her. At first, the two individuals, who have completely opposite personalities, often engage in intense arguments. However, as time goes by, Lau Yiu Ming gradually discovers the soft and wounded heart hidden beneath Choi Gin Ching's heavily armored exterior. Lau Yiu Ming falls uncontrollably in love with the outwardly strong but inwardly gentle Choi Gin Ching. He finds a new job and thereby meets an intern under his supervision, Chuek Bi Ki (played by Chan Lai Heung), who falls in love with the steady and reliable Lau Yiu Ming. Unfortunately, his heart is already set on someone else.
