Snow Girl returns to her hometown with her parents, but on the way, they are robbed by mountain bandits including Xia Sanhu and Xu Jun. Her parents are brutally killed, but Snow Girl is saved by Fan Jin, and the two become husband and wife. On the day of their son Tianxiang's full moon celebration, Xia Sanhu kidnaps their son, and Fan Jin abandons Snow Girl.
