People say that at forty one becomes wise. However, forty-two-year-old Bian Liang (played by Huang Bo) suddenly finds himself increasingly confused, leaving him at a loss. This year, crises in his life come one after another. As a father actively seeking progress and breakthroughs, he faces resistance from his calm and indifferent son (played by Rong Zishan); his career is trapped in a bottleneck, severely hindering his plans for advancement. Soon, the seemingly smooth and happy family shows signs of sudden change in this bewildering year.
