The story takes place in 1943 in the anti-Japanese base area behind enemy lines, in the small town of Anqiu, located in central Hebei. At this time, our army's power is continuously growing, and several surrounding counties have been liberated. The Japanese and puppet forces in Anqiu are in a state of panic, each contemplating their escape routes. Cai Shuigen, a manager of a donkey meat restaurant named "Dingxiang Building," is highly regarded by the Japanese and puppet authorities, while he is actually an underground Communist Party member who plays the enemy in the palm of his hand. Under Cai Shuigen's leadership, several Communist Party members launched brave and fearless underground anti-Japanese activities. The 28-episode situational comedy "Underground Transportation Station," produced by Ying Company's, was carefully planned for two years and, with its unique format and fresh perspective, has become the first situational comedy in China reflecting the theme of the War of Resistance. The show adheres to the consistent style of Ying’s comedies, allowing the audience to laugh heartily while being infused with revolutionary optimism and heroism.
