During the reign of Emperor Renzong of the Northern Song Dynasty, the world was peaceful, with favorable weather. Although the court advocated for the cessation of military operations and the promotion of culture, heroes still rose from among the common people, creating many legendary tales of chivalry that would be remembered for generations. Bao Zheng (played by Ding Xiaoqiu), the magistrate of Kaifeng, was known for his integrity and righteousness, earning the praise of the emperor and the support of the common people and even heroic figures from the jianghu, ensuring that righteous spirit remained in the world. In earlier years, the three heroes and five righteousness played out countless hero dramas, but now the old heroes have returned to their mountains, while the young heroes have begun to tread the jianghu. Xu Liang (played by Zhao Hengxuan), known as the White Browed Hero and the son of the Mount Mice Xu Qing, along with his fourth uncle Jiang Ping (played by Liu Deji) accidentally rescues someone in danger on Mount Tai, leading to the unraveling of the Jin Wang's conspiracy to rebel, which brings forth heroes like the Jade-faced Little Daruma Bai Yunrui (played by Xing Minshan), the young hero Ai Hu, and the big-headed ghost Fang Shuan, who collectively defeat Jin Wang in a series of battles, revealing the entwined enmities and bloodshed of the jianghu... This film is adapted from the classic Chinese novel "Seven Heroes and Five Righteousness."
