A grand historical drama that showcases the legendary life of an unparalleled genius! The chief editor of the "Yongle Encyclopedia," whose fame endures through the ages! Xie Jin, the extraordinary talent of the Ming Dynasty, was exceptionally gifted from a young age, keen on learning and questioning, and remarkably sharp. By the age of five, he could compose poems and was known as a child prodigy. The current Minister of Personnel, Cao Xuan, engaged in schemes for personal gain, bribing the examination officials for local trials and committing fraud in the examination hall. Xie Jin publicly argued the exam papers and won, being reinstated as the top scholar of the local examination, returning home with honors. At nineteen, his extraordinary talent and courage earned him the title of Jinshi (the highest scholarly degree). The reigning Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang highly praised Xie Jin's "Report on the Great Kitchen West Seal," even making what was originally meant for the Emperor's eyes only public, which made Xie Jin famous. He was promoted to the Senior Censor of the Ministry of Personnel; however, this also provoked more dissatisfaction from the treacherous minister Cao Xuan. Upon Zhu Yuanzhang's death, Cao Xuan swapped Xie Jin's eulogy into a blank sheet! The new emperor was furious and ordered Xie Jin to be executed in a ritual. Yet, with his vast knowledge, Xie Jin responded fluently. Cao Xuan then exploited the imperial concubine to have Xie Jin demoted to the governor of Hezhou, Shaanxi. After many hardships, Xie Jin eventually served in the Hanlin Academy. When Zhu Di ascended to the throne, he reorganized the cabinet, promoting Xie Jin to an academician of the Hanlin Academy and Minister of the Right at the Spring Pavilion, assigning him the chief editorial role of the "Yongle Encyclopedia." Xie Jin led over 3,000 scholars, completing the monumental "Yongle Encyclopedia," the world's first vast encyclopedia, over four years. This delighted Zhu Di, who exclaimed, "A talented man! Truly a heavenly strategy!" With this, Xie Jin earned the reputation of the extraordinary talent of the Ming Dynasty!
