In the early 1990s, as the reform and opening-up deepened, the information industry began a new chapter. Two young men from the Computer Research Institute of Yanjing University, Xiao Chuang (played by Wu Lei) and Pei Qinghua (played by Hou Minghao), entered the field by secretly making Chinese input methods and were chosen by their director, Tan Qizhang, to join the wave of computer sales.
