In 1955, the international situation was unpredictable, and the construction of New China could not be delayed. That year, a wave of return swept through Chinese intellectuals abroad. Physics professor Zhong Peilin from the United States, the couple Wang Huaimin and He Yinwei who studied in the Soviet Union, as well as physics talents like Huang Kaihua, overcame numerous obstacles, traversed thousands of miles, and embarked on the path of serving their country. In 1958, China's first nuclear weapon research institution, A, was established.
