Cheng Yue (played by Jerry Yan) is an exceptionally talented piano prodigy. Despite coming from a poor family, he has worked hard and, with his mother's support, has achieved a brilliant status today. He has a crush on the cellist Yan Ruishan (played by Zeng Kexuan), but unexpectedly discovers that his friend Li Shichuan (played by Chen Zhikai) is also in love with Yan Ruishan.
