"Xian Jian Qi Xia Zhuan" is adapted from one of the most classic game works in PC gaming history. Aiming to become famous in the martial arts world, Li Xiaoyao (played by Hu Ge) goes to the immortal island in search of a magical remedy to help his ailing Aunt Li. By chance, he meets the mysterious girl Zhao Ling'er (played by Liu Yifei). The two fall in love and marry on the same day, promising never to forget each other. Xiaoyao leaves the island with the golden pill to save his aunt, but is tricked into taking "Worry-Free Powder," causing him to forget everything about Ling'er! Pregnant and heartbroken, Ling'er discovers she is a descendant of the "Mother of Earth," Nuwa, with a mission to save all living beings, so she painfully sets aside her personal feelings!
