Unaware of her true identity, Wuyou develops feelings for Man Yao. When the remarkable book is found, her royal brother Rong Qi wants Rong Le to marry General Fu Chou of Beilin. Rong Le and Fu Chou reach a false marriage agreement, at which point Wuyou discovers that Man Yao is actually Rong Le. Determined to take control of her own destiny, Man Yao realizes that Fu Chou is Wuyou's own brother, and she herself is Qin Man, the daughter left by the Qin family.
