The drama is set against the backdrop of the current opposition to Taiwan independence, telling a gripping modern story from a fresh perspective: With the support and indulgence of international anti-China forces, Li Xiao, a former spy from the Taiwan Military Intelligence Bureau's Operations Division, organized an international separatist organization called the "Iron-Blood Alliance" and serves as an operations advisor. He quietly infiltrates mainland China, planning to use a model aircraft to detonate explosives at the time of a major foreign delegation's visit to China, intending to carry out violent assassination activities and harm the bilateral relations. At the same time, Li Xiao exploits his daughter Li Manqiu, who studied at a university in mainland China, to incite her classmate — a missile force commander Hong Yue, whom I joined for military exercises, aiming to cause a missile misfire and trigger a military conflict with a certain major power. This is intended to create a split within the motherland and disrupt our nation's stability and unity, ultimately benefiting the pro-Taiwan independence forces with evil objectives. Former Nationalist Party Military Intelligence Bureau director Zhou Tianren, who was once Li Xiao's mentor, is a nationalist who strongly opposes Li Xiao's Taiwan independence stance.
