Set against the backdrop of Hong Kong after the financial storm, this drama revolves around three girls from different backgrounds and personalities, revealing human nature and the intertwined emotions and friendships between men and women, woven intricately into careers and family life. Fang Jiayi and Shen Xifan are close classmates, like sisters; Jiayi comes from a simple and kind family, married to the Malaysian Chinese man Zhuang Peiquan. Xifan is beautiful and capable, praised by everyone for her beauty and talent as a married woman. At a party hosted by Peiquan, Kaiwei encounters the young and charming doctor Ye Jiajin.
