The male protagonist, Crash Calhoun (Kurt Russell), who plays motorcycle stunts, was once an art thief but has since turned over a new leaf. However, under the encouragement of his unreliable brother, Nicky Calhoun (Matt Dillon), and the temptation of a substantial profit, he plans to pull off a big art heist. Crash reunites with his old crew to steal a priceless ancient book. Just as everything is set to go, Nicky proposes a more daring plan. However, the brothers' careful plans do not go smoothly as each member of the crew has their own agenda, and their previous plans fall through. Will Crash's "final act" proceed successfully, and will they manage to steal?
