In 1960, due to natural disasters, three thousand orphans from the south were sent to the Inner Mongolia grasslands, adopted by loving Mongolian parents. The elder brother Chaolu, the younger sister Tonggala, and their peers Biriushui and Atenhua, each with distinct personalities—some outgoing, some shrewd, some gentle—were raised in different families and experienced varied life paths.
