Yang Mianmian (played by Luo Yutong) loses both her parents in a horrific car accident, and in an instant, she loses everything in her life, going from a pampered only child to a starving orphan. The drastic changes in her life also alter her originally cheerful personality, leading her to develop a psychological illness and become indifferent to everything around her.
