In the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, warlords rose up, leading to constant warfare. After a great battle, the Qing king Tong Taiming became separated from his 7-year-old daughter Tong Lingyu. Wandering to the Ayutthaya Kingdom (present-day Thailand), she was taken in by Muay Thai master Asang, who accepted her as a disciple and taught her Muay Thai every day.
