This is a contest of youth, where a group of proud and rebellious "post-90s" students meet experienced and decisive "post-80s" instructors, and a war of "wits and courage", "open blades and hidden arrows" is about to break out. Cai Mi (played by Li Jiahang) and Fu Chun (played by Sun Shaolong) are a group of post-90s college students, bright and full of life, clever and playful, with distinct personalities; but they also possess some traits of their generation: self-centeredness, rebellious individuality, late maturity, lack of experience, and weak sense of responsibility. In order to improve themselves, they enter a specialized training project called Project 101, jointly organized by the school and the military, during their final year as they approach graduation. They are assigned to Team 101. In this team, they experience a life completely different from their original one, undergoing not only physical and military training but also training in worldview and psychological qualities, as well as learning and practicing psychological warfare knowledge. During this time, they frequently clash with military instructors, facing huge contrasts in lifestyle, outlook on life, and values; conflicts with instructors Yun Tianyao (played by Zhu Yawen) and Jiang Danchen (played by Wan Qian), among other military psychological warfare experts, escalate into a battle of wits and courage, with bizarre incidents unfolding, showcasing a variety of skills that are both hilarious and infuriating. Strict training assessments stimulate their fighting spirit and cultivate their resilience; the professional psychological warfare exercises thoroughly test their mental endurance, courage to overcome opponents, and practical combat level. Through months of rigorous training, Cai Mi and other post-90s college students significantly improve in mental maturity and integrity, becoming an unforgettable vibrant lesson in their life paths. The military also gains experience in training psychological warfare personnel, discovering and recruiting professional talents to join the psychological warfare units.
