In 1948, twin brothers Liu Jinhui (played by Jiang Hong'en) and Liu Jinpeng (played by Jiang Hong'en) left their hometown to seek refuge with transport tycoon Bai Haisheng, embarking on a grand life journey. Impulsive Liu Jinhui married Bai Haisheng's daughter Bai Yufeng and invested all his efforts into business, but ultimately fell into despair.
