This drama is adapted from the workplace novel "The War of Su Xiao" by Ruo Hua Ran Ran, set against the backdrop of the construction industry. It closely follows the themes of career advancement and counterattack. It tells the story of cost engineer Su Xiao (played by Sun Li) who is forced to resign due to a partner's evasion of responsibility.
