This film tells the story of a group of medical staff in the neurosurgery department of Yunshan Hospital in Jiangzhou. The leader, Liu Chenxi (played by Zhang Jiayi), is not only an excellent doctor but also a person of integrity. However, his daughter, Nannan, suffers from congenital kidney failure, and he and his wife have been waiting for a matching kidney source for her operation.
