In the 1930s, Shanghai, Chen Zikun (played by Chen Kun), a clerk at Huaxin Watch Shop, experiences his first love with Fang Ziyi (played by Luo Haiqiong), the shop owner's daughter, secretly under the boss's scrutiny.
