Uozumi Rukasa (voiced by Kobayashi Chiaki) is a man who is very ordinary in both appearance and personality. After graduating from university, Rukasa didn’t push himself to enter a big corporation, but instead chose to work at a convenience store as a part-timer. Everyone was puzzled by Rukasa's choice, but he had his own plans in mind. Morinome Hinako (voiced by Hanazawa Kana) works as a substitute teacher at a high school. Due to a past tragic experience, Hinako has tightly closed off her heart and no longer accepts anyone's care. Rukasa has fallen in love with Hinako and silently watches over her. Nonaka Haru (voiced by Miyamoto Yume) is a mature girl who left home early to enter society. By chance, she falls in love with Rukasa and learns about his feelings for Hinako.
