The seemingly ordinary detective Akabane (voiced by Daisuke Namikawa) has a twisted, sadistic side; he is actually a demon detective solving various problems by summoning demons. After working for two months at Akabane's office, his assistant, part-time student Reiko Satsukuma (voiced by Rina Satou), finally gets to see his supernatural ability to summon demons. This gives Reiko the chance to enter the world of demons. Akabane summons different demons to handle the cases at his detective agency, but the demons he calls are mostly incompetent and flawed. There is the low-ranking demon Asashell (voiced by Masaya Onosaka), whose specialty is sexual harassment. Another is the aristocratic exposure demon Bechibel the 931st (voiced by Hiroshi Kamiya), who enjoys eating excrement. And there's the jealous Wendini Wei (voiced by Yu Kobayashi), who is infatuated with her master Akabane and harbors inexplicable hostility towards Reiko, being a full-fledged masochist. The agency is inundated with daily cases, but as Akabane says, using the power of demons will not ultimately lead to happiness; either he or his close ones will face deserved consequences.
