Adopted by Mr. Rurimiso from the Holy Sound Tone-Deaf House since childhood, Mikey Jiro (voiced by Minami Takayama) learns to sing karaoke at a private a cappella school. Being tone-deaf, his singing can shatter windows, driving his classmates to despair. The arrogant Prince Wakataka (voiced by Yuko Kobayashi), who believes he sings the best, looks down on him and complains to Jiro's father, the school's chairman, Prince Wakataka Daizen (voiced by Masaharu Sato), seeking to expel Jiro from school. Jiro's good friend Yoshimichi Funaki (voiced by Tsutomu Kashiwakura), whose family runs a Snake Path karaoke chain, insists on practicing singing together. The prince and his sister, Princess Wakataka (voiced by Hiroko Emori), have ulterior motives and invite Jiro to sing karaoke, which is actually a prank place. Just when Jiro is about to encounter danger, he receives a microphone left by his parents that can transform him into a true karaoke microphone warrior. The prince tries to grab the microphone but accidentally unlocks Jiro's vocal cords with his ring.
