Shōtarō Futaba (voiced by Kanemoto Hisako) is a freshman who just entered high school. During the summer of his third year in junior high, he was drawn to the performance of the Aōka Men's Artistic Gymnastics Club, which led Shōtarō to choose this school and join the gymnastics club. Here, he meets a group of like-minded friends. Among them are the highly skilled yet distant Ryouya Misato (voiced by Ishikawa Kaito), the gentle and reliable vice president Keisuke Tsukigumi (voiced by Kondo Takashi) who enjoys cultivating bonsai in his spare time, the only normal person in the club, Chōgichi Onagawa (voiced by Shimono Hiro), and the seemingly intimidating yet delicate and kind Kōtarō Anri (voiced by Kamiya Hiroshi). Training with these dependable seniors, Shōtarō, although initially ignorant of artistic gymnastics, quickly grows due to his talent and hard work.
