The Zhang family has three beautiful daughters who from a young age have been raised under their mother's strict traditional education, which forbade them from getting close to men, proclaiming that all men in the world are untrustworthy. The eldest daughter, Zhang Nianqi (played by Liu Xuehua), loves Yang Yin (played by Zhang Peihua) and elopes to marry him.
