Junko Sakuraba (played by Satomi Ishihara) works diligently as an instructor at an English teaching institution, saving up to fulfill her dream of living in New York. During a memorial service, her leg goes numb, and she accidentally scatters ashes on Monk Hoshikawa (played by Tomohisa Yamashita), which unexpectedly makes Hoshikawa fall in love with Junko at first sight. Following this incident, Hoshikawa launches a series of pursuits towards Junko that can be described more as fervent rather than almost "harassment." Seigo Kiyomiya (played by Kei Tanaka) is Junko's former teacher and now her boss, with whom she shares a vague, unexpressed affection. Satoshi Mishima (played by Yuki Furukawa) was once Junko's classmate but is now her student, harboring unspoken affection for her. Yuki Uchinaka (played by Ryo Takada) appears to be a cute girl but is actually a boy in disguise, secretly in love with Junko. However, nothing can diminish Hoshikawa's deep love for Junko, including the heavy responsibility he carries to inherit the temple and become the next head priest. This drama is adapted from the manga of the same name by Minoru Aihara.
