Reiko Suimura (voiced by Chihiro Hashimoto) is a slightly introverted high school girl. After transferring to a new school, Reiko finds that her personality makes it difficult for her to integrate into her class, leading to feelings of loneliness. Recently, a trading card game called "WIXOSS" has become popular in her class, and Reiko hopes that this will provide an opportunity to bridge the gap between herself and her classmates, so she goes into a store to buy a set of cards. What Reiko didn't expect was that the moment she opened the cards, the character on the card, Lilulu (voiced by Shizuka Ito), came to life. It turns out that Reiko has been drawn into a game where her memories are at stake. All her memories have been condensed and sealed into five coins, which are her only chips. Reiko must use these five coins to compete against other participants; if she fails, she will lose all her memories.
