The story describes Zhuge Liang, who died of illness during the Battle of Wuzhang Plains, being reborn in modern Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan, where a Halloween parade is taking place. There, he meets the singer-songwriter Eiko Tsukimi, and in order to help her achieve her dream, Zhuge Liang uses his military talents to become her strategist. The story unfolds with his active role as Eiko's advisor.
