Daichi Sho (voiced by Jun Fukuyama) is an ordinary boy who, despite appearing carefree and casual on the surface, is actually very sensitive and gentle. One day, after drinking a can of melon soda, he is shocked to find that the empty can has transformed into a golden-haired girl named Melon (voiced by Sayaka Narita). Thus, Daichi Sho becomes Melon's owner.
