This drama tells the story of a lawless lawyer who does not believe in the law and uses his fists to solve problems. In order to avenge his mother's death, he stands alone in the court of justice, fighting against the lawyers of the powerful who seem to have it all. It is a court action drama that portrays a lawyer running solely for revenge, depicting his path of vengeance and growth. Li Jong-gi plays the lawyer Bong Sang-pil, who takes aim at the insiders of power. He witnessed his mother's tragic death as a child and, fueled by grief and anger, views avenging her as his life's purpose and absolute mission. Seo Ye-ji portrays the assertive and opinionated Ha Jae-yi, originally a lawyer who becomes a civil affairs chief due to the judges' tyranny. After becoming the civil affairs chief, she meets Bong Sang-pil and becomes the central figure in the events. Lee Hye-young plays the respected figure in the legal field, "Mother Teresa," Cha Moon-sook. Though she is an absolute queen, she embodies the desire for power and is a manifestation of greed and evil. When Bong Sang-pil appears before her, she begins to waver. Choi Min-soo plays the ambitious and ruthless conglomerate chairman Ahn Woo-joo, who hides his shameless past and extremely vile nature, portraying a cunning man.
