Rika Inaba (played by Aragaki Yui), who works at the Imperial City TV Station, was once considered a promising newcomer. However, due to her overly strong attitude at work, she caused numerous disputes during interviews and was sidelined to become a non-prime-time director. Ordered to cover a uniform special, she went to interview the Public Relations Office of the Self-Defense Forces Staff Office, where she met Daisuke Sorai (played by Ayano Gou), a former fighter pilot. After a drunk driving accident injured his leg, he could only work in the Public Relations Department. Inaba believes she can uncover explosive news from Sorai, which could become her opportunity to return to the front lines of the TV station, but her tough attitude arouses Sorai's dislike.
