In recent years, the strong-growing Japanese interior design brand Regolith has begun to expand its overseas market, choosing Shanghai as its first overseas branch. Its establishment led to the closure of a factory, causing strong dissatisfaction among workers, including Liu Xiumei (played by Lin Chiling), which triggered a large-scale sit-in.
