30-year-old washed-up model Nan Ye (played by Tomoko Yamaguchi) is cruelly abandoned by her untrustworthy fiancé who runs off with her money on their wedding day. When she furiously rushes to confront him, she only encounters his innocent roommate, Shūji Senna (played by Takuya Kimura) — a struggling 24-year-old pianist. With no money and nowhere to go, Nan threatens and tempts Senna to become her new roommate. Their life under the same roof is filled with challenges, and both their careers and love life face difficulties, yet they gradually develop a bond of mutual understanding. Nan's younger brother, Shinji Ye (played by Yutaka Takenouchi), unexpectedly visits with his girlfriend, and Senna secretly develops feelings for his junior, Ryoko Ozawa (played by Ryoko Hirosue), making everyone's relationships more complicated.
