Hokkaido has cultivated its unique food culture, with BBQ featuring Jingisukan and parfaits as favorites. This story is set in a small bento shop called "Kuma-Ben" in Sapporo, Hokkaido. Chiharu (sayu Kubota), an office worker who was transferred from Tokyo to Sapporo while feeling down after being cheated on by her boyfriend, encounters the mysterious genius chef Yu (Hiroki Iijima) one night at the quietly standing bento shop. Yu makes a "salmon kama" bento that is different from what Chiharu ordered for some reason. However, this special bento made with Chiharu in mind gradually melts her frozen heart... Soon, the bento created out of Yu's kind meddling becomes known as the "magical bento." Customers with troubles begin to visit Kuma-Ben. The once reserved Chiharu eventually starts to fulfill the inner wishes of those who visit "Kuma-Ben" along with Yu's magical bento. A heartwarming story of Northern bento, filled with exquisite bento made from abundant Hokkaido ingredients and delightful meddling, satisfying both hunger and heart!
