This drama is adapted from the manga work by Natsuko Taniguchi. The contrasting characters "Aiko" and "Tomoko" weave together the commonplace gender roles, marriage systems, and aspects of daily life through delicious home-cooked meals. Aiko Ota (Mizusaki Rinna) works as an interior designer. Although she is highly capable at work, she is not good at household chores. Despite her strong desire to get married and being engaged to her boyfriend, she lives a life of missed connections every day. In this situation, she reunites with her high school friend Tomoko Asano (Rindou Rei) at a wedding. Tomoko, who does not have romantic feelings for others, excels at household chores, especially cooking, but her work as a picture book author is a bit stagnant, and she lives a similarly frustrating life as Aiko.
