Tells the stories of people living in the Waikiki guesthouse in Itaewon, Seoul. Kim Jung-hyun plays Kang Dong-kyu, who dreams of becoming a film director. He is the CEO of the guesthouse Waikiki and a freelance performer, wanting to be the next Bong Joon-ho, but in reality, he makes a living by shooting videos to earn money. Lee Yi-kyung plays Dong-kyu's senior from university, Choi Joon-ki, who dreams of becoming an actor because his father is an actor, but lacking in acting talent, he takes any role that pays to make a living. Son Seung-won plays Dong-kyu's classmate from university, Bong Doo-sik, the co-CEO of the guesthouse Waikiki and a freelance writer, but is actually somewhat unemployed.
