Han Ji-eun (Song Hye-kyo) views the "Full House" left by her deceased parents as her home, her treasure. A writing enthusiast, she writes online and lives a frugal life in Full House without a stable job. Unbeknownst to her, the naive Ji-eun is betrayed by her childhood friend Hu-cheng and his girlfriend, who sell Full House and take all her money. This house happens to be bought by the big star Lee Young-jae (Rain). Lee Young-jae initially intended to buy the house to propose to his girlfriend Hye-won, but Hye-won announces she will marry Young-jae's older brother. Young-jae endures the pain, and reporters who arrive make him declare that Han Ji-eun is his fiancée. This catches Ji-eun off guard, and in response to a demand from Young-jae's manager, Ji-eun decides to enter a contractual fake marriage with Young-jae in hopes of getting her Full House back. Thus, they become a pair of bickering lovers, with their contrasting personalities leading to stark differences in their living habits, resulting in daily arguments. Because Young-jae is a celebrity, their lives are constantly disrupted, but after going through so much together, they unknowingly fall in love with each other…
