"Lies of Lies" is a romantic suspense film about a woman who is imprisoned after being falsely accused of murdering her husband. After her release, she is determined to become the wife of her daughter's adoptive father, Jiang Zhiming, in order to find her daughter who has been adopted away. The false love that began because of her daughter gradually turns into true love. Li Youri plays the role of Chi Eun-soo, a chaebol's daughter-in-law who suddenly becomes a murder suspect and fights alone to retrieve her daughter whom she gave birth to in prison. Yoon Jung-hoon plays the kind and just journalist Jiang Zhiming, who raises his adopted daughter alone. Lee Il-hwa plays Chi Eun-soo's former mother-in-law, Kim Hwal-lan, who seeks strong revenge after Chi Eun-soo is accused of murdering her son, revealing a terrifying aspect devoid of blood and tears. Directed by Kim Jung-kwon, known for "I Hate You! Juliet," and written by Kim Ji-eun from "Scandal in Old Town."
