"Big Z" Zeke (voiced by Jeff Bridges) is the most famous surfer in the penguin world, with a glorious record, but he disappeared ten years ago during a competition, becoming a legend. His story inspires generations of young penguins to carry on the surfing legacy. Cody (voiced by Shia LaBeouf) is one of the most obsessed, having dreamed of leaving his small town since he was little. Through his own efforts and talent, he gains the support of his agent, the long-legged bird (voiced by Mario Cantone), and the short bear boss (voiced by James Woods), leading him to the world-class surfing competition in Hawaii.
