Koichi Ichinose (played by Tsuyoshi Kusanagi) possesses a remarkable memory and an extraordinary talent for lying, making him a genius fraudster. Thirty years ago, the Ichinose family faced a tragedy; on the surface, it appeared that the father killed the mother and younger brother before committing suicide, but it was actually a premeditated murder, witnessed only by 9-year-old Koichi.
