A third-year junior high school girl, Ichinose Izumi (voiced by Masami Seto), is about to move to Tokyo after graduation, but she is unable to fully accept it. As graduation day approaches, Izumi remains stuck in her ways. On the day of the graduation ceremony, she takes a solitary walk along the beach, where she finds a shimmering sea-blue crystal fragment. Empowered by the fragment, Izumi enters a magical world she has never seen before and meets three other girls her age: Aoi Nikaido (voiced by Shiori Izawa), Natsuki Tomodachi (voiced by Atsumi Tanezaki), and Asahi Daido (voiced by Ari Ozawa). At the same time, magical Popin creatures appear; they generate energy through dance, keeping time flowing normally throughout the world. However, both the Popin world and the human world are facing a crisis of collapse. To avert the crisis, the girls brought here by the time fragments must work together to perform a dance. In a critical moment, Saki Toki (voiced by Tomoyo Kurosawa), who serves as the dance instructor for the Popins, appears with a strict approach until Izumi and the others take up the challenge of the world-saving dance... This film is a commemorative work for Toei Animation's 60th anniversary.
