The story takes us back to the time when the Roman Empire dominated the ancient world. For the glorious Romans, bathing in hot springs was an essential part of life. Lucius followed in the footsteps of his father and grandfather to become a bathhouse designer. However, when he was fired for having outdated design ideas, Lucius's future as a bathhouse designer was cast into doubt. One day, he was sucked into the main drain of a public bath and ended up flowing downstream to... a Japanese bathhouse! Lucius did not realize he had crossed through time; he was moved by Japanese bathing culture, including the murals on the walls and fruit milk beverages. He brought back items that could enhance the bathing experience to ancient Rome and became a popular bathhouse designer.
