Du Xiaosu (played by Li Qin) is a journalist who encounters a doctor named Shao Zhenrong (played by Zhang Yunlong) during an interview. As they spend time together, they fall in love and eventually come together. However, their relationship is abruptly halted due to the strong opposition from Shao Zhenrong's mother. To distract himself from his heartbreak, Shao Zhenrong channels all his energy into work, and while participating in a charitable medical mission in the mountains, he encounters a landslide and tragically loses his life.
