Holding onto the desire to help others, she transforms into a magical girl, while bearing the weight of a cruel destiny. Through a series of battles, the kind Sayaka Miki (voiced by Eri Kitamura) completely exhausts her life. When her body is brought back by Homura Akemi (voiced by Chiwa Saitō) and Kyoko Sakura (voiced by Ai Nonaka), her friend Madoka Kaname (voiced by Aoi Yūki) feels unprecedented sadness and pain. Hearing about the fate of magical girls from Kyubey (voiced by Emi Nitta) profoundly influences her. At Kyoko's suggestion, Madoka decides to save Sayaka, and they are about to confront the strongest witch, Walpurgisnacht (voiced by Kaori Mizuhashi).
